How to Enable bit torrent client Behind a PFsense 2 Firewall pfSense is an awesome toy to mess around with. it comes loaded with features and best part is that its free!!!! When I started with pfSense I had a hard time getting my torrent client to work behind it. I'd like to ask if there are any package or development work to extend pfsense function like a NAS server. I'm not thinking and a fully NAS with a lot of options like freenas, but only in something that we can plug an USB disk by example and download some files or torrents using a native PfSense torrent client by example. From what I understand I need to setup the VPN connection in pfsense then setup firewall rules to port forward the traffic to my nas using torrent (in my case 10.10.10.100 port 16881). However once I connect to the VPN all of my traffic goes through the VPN which screws up my plex (still having issues with this portforwding too) and Netflix.
